Just the way graphic novels have created a new and exciting genre, we believe the immersive book will be an important part of the future of books.

How it Works

The immersive book is a new take on a traditional medium. Reel Story isn’t trying to change books. Instead, we’re creating a digital experience as an exciting addition to the repertoire of reading. But we’re not just building worlds - we’re building connections. On one side, we connect authors with publishers and readers. On the other, we connect authors with creatives (musicians, designers, illustrators) who use their talents to bring stories to life – together.

Reel Story takes stories and creates audio and visual elements to enhance the reading experience. Think personalized soundtracks and animated illustrations that allow a reader to fully immerse themselves into a story.

Reel Story sources talented creatives to design the audio and visual elements for the immersive experience. We call this our Creative Guild.

Reel Story serves as a digital book trailer for publishers or proof-of-concept for authors.

Are you an author looking to reach publishers and readers? Our brand-new immersive book experience is a unique way to share your story with the world and connect with new audiences. The best part? We’re now accepting submissions for our next project!

If selected, we will work together with members of our Creative Guild to bring your story’s world to life. From music, to animations, watch as our talented designers create magic from your words.

We are starting where the magic happens - with middle-grade and young adult stories. To be considered, send us 1-3 chapters of your manuscript in the message section of our intake form using the link below. Can’t wait to read it!
